Washington Square Park
Right across the street from the inn is Washington Square Park. Legendary San Francisco columnist Herb Caen loved to comment about the park: "It is a square that isn't a square, in the heart of North Beach, which isn't a beach. Washington Square isn't on Washington Street and has a statue of Benjamin Franklin instead of George Washington." Discover for yourself the distinct charms of this urban retreat, an ideal place to take a break while exploring San Francisco.

Angel Island State Park
