The staff of the Washington Square Inn takes pride in offering each guest premium-level service. We offer San Francisco business lodging and luxurious vacation accommodations. We are located in the vibrant North Beach neighborhood, a perfect starting point for your vacation in California’s Bay Area. At this non-smoking, San Francisco, CA hotel, guests will find the following complimentary items, services and corporate travel amenities:

  • Free WiFi throughout the inn

  • Flat screen televisions in every room

  • Breakfast served in your room or our lobby, includes fresh juices, tea assortment, muffins, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt or toast. Bagels and smoked salmon on the weekends.

  • Fresh coffee every morning and afternoon tea service

  • Evening hors d'oeuvres with wine 5:30 to 6:30pm.

  • Soft robes provided to guests in room

  • Cable television, telephones (data ready) and wireless internet access in every room, as well as office services in the lobby.

  • All rooms have ceiling fans

  • Self-parking available one block from the Inn for $20 self park with no in & out, $25 for self park with in & out.

  • We use the Filbert Street Garage at Columbus and Filbert, one block away.

General Policies:

  • A one nights deposit is charged to your credit card to secure your reservation, the balance will be due only on departure.

  • Rooms are single or double occupancy and subject to 14.00% hotel tax.

  • Additional person limited to specific rooms, pre-arrangement only - $50.00, regardless of age.

  • Two night minimum stay required Friday or Saturday night. There is a three night minimum during holiday periods.

  • Age requirement; You must be at least 21 years of age to reserve a room.

  • Personal checks will not be accepted if received less than 30 days prior to arrival.

  • No smoking is permitted on the premises.

  • No pets please.

  • Our check in time is from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Check out time is 11:00am.

  • Our front desk is open from 7:00am to 10:00pm daily. Please contact us for a late check in.

  • Cancellation policy is 7 days prior to your scheduled reservation date, less $25.00 fee. Cancellation made within the 7 day period may be responsible for the entire amount of your scheduled stay, unless we rebook the room. A 21 day cancellation notice is required for all holiday stays. 

  • Groups of five to nine rooms require a 30-day cancellation notice, Nine to fifteen rooms require a 60 day cancellation policy. All groups will be charged an additional 10% service fee on room rates and full payment is required in advance, and nonrefundable if canceled within the cancellation period.

  • This Inn has guests from all over the world that come for a relaxing stay and there-fore this Inn is not appropriate for children under 12.
